Alexander Kendrick (born June 11, 1970) is an American pastor, filmmaker, and actor, renowned for directing and starring in faith-based films such as Facing The Giants, War Room, Overcomer, Courageous, and Fireproof. His films have collectively grossed over $190 million worldwide, and he is one of the few directors with four films receiving an "A+" grade on CinemaScore.

Born in Athens, Georgia, Kendrick grew up in Smyrna and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Kennesaw State University. Before entering ministry, he worked as a Christian DJ and served as a college minister in Marietta, Georgia. From 1999 to 2014, he was an associate pastor at Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia, where he founded Sherwood Pictures in 2002, producing several successful films.

Kendrick has co-authored best-selling books with his brother Stephen, including The Love Dare, and founded Kendrick Brothers Productions in 2013. His film War Room topped the box office in its second weekend, and the brothers announced plans for a sixth film, Overcomer, which was released in 2019.
