
Michael Zegen
1979 (47 лет)Born in Glen Rock, New Jersey, Zegen grew up in Ridgewood. He comes from a Jewish family; his mother was born in an Austrian displaced persons' camp, and his grandparents were Holocaust survivors from Ukraine and Poland. He graduated from Skidmore College in 2001 and was active in his high school theater program.
Zegen started as a recurring character on Rescue Me, becoming a main cast member in later seasons. He played Bugsy Siegel in Boardwalk Empire, had a role in The Walking Dead, and created the character Liam in the off-Broadway play Bad Jews. He made his Broadway debut in A View from the Bridge in 2015 and starred as Joel Maisel in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, earning two Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 2021, he returned to Broadway in Trouble in Mind.
