Following ACHTUNG BABY was the ZOOROPA album and one of U2's most successful tours, the Zoo TV Tour, in which the multimedia experience was expanded upon.

On September 1, 2001, Irish rock band U2 made a triumphant return to their roots with two outdoor shows at Slane Castle, Ireland. U2 chose the castle venue because it marked two watershed moments for the band: their recording session for the landmark album THE UNFORGETTABLE FIRE in 1984, and their first Slane appearance opening up for fellow Irish rock band Thin Lizzy in 1981. U2 GO HOME captures the emotional intensity of the homecoming with 19 live tracks culled from the concerts.

Live from Paris is a video by U2, recorded at the band's concert at Hippodrome de Vincennes in Paris, France on July 4, 1987. The concert was originally released in video form on the bonus DVD in the box set version of the remastered edition of The Joshua Tree, released on November 20, 2007.

U2's 360° concert at the famous Pasadena Rose Bowl was U2's biggest ever show in the United States with a box office attendance in excess of 97,000. The first live streaming of a full-length stadium concert, U2360° at the Rose Bowl streamed across seven continents, making history with over 10 million views in one week. Shot entirely in HD, this ground breaking concert was filmed with 28 cameras and directed by Tom Krueger who previously shot the concert film U23D. U2360° resumes in Europe in August with North American dates to follow in 2011.
