Cohen also appeared on the game show Pyramid in 2002–2003 and guest-starred in Law & Order: Criminal Intent. He portrayed Jack Woolf in The Other Woman alongside Natalie Portman and starred in the British thriller Iron Cross.
In The Carrie Diaries, Cohen played Carrie's father's old friend, giving her an internship and eventually marrying Larissa, Carrie's boss. He also starred opposite Hope Davis in the NBC drama Allegiance.
