Kevin Dowling
2021Kevin Dowling is an Australian film, television director and producer. He made directorial debut co-directing the film The Sum of Us starring Jack Thompson and Russell Crowe. In 1996, he directed the film Mojave Moon starring Danny Aiello, Anne Archer and Angelina Jolie. Since 1998, Dowling has directed for television, directing television films and television series namely Early Edition, Touched by an Angel, Gilmore Girls, Ed, Dead Like Me, One Tree Hill, Joan of Arcadia and a number of other series.

Frannie Vaughn (Fawcett) comes back home after being away a long time, only to find that her mother has died. She also finds out that her sister, Natalie (Crow) and her husband, Jake (Bryce), are planning to sell the acres once owned by Frannie and Natalie's family. To buy the land back from her sister, Frannie gets a job and falls in love with a fellow worker, Rubin (Johnson). In the end, Frannie's dreams come true and Natalie comes to her senses and moves in to the old family house with Frannie and Rubin.

Al McCord is hanging out at his favourite restaurant when he meets an attractive young woman (Ellie) who is looking for a ride from the city out into the Mojave Desert, where her mother lives. Little does he know that while Ellie is falling in love with him, he is falling for her mother (Julie), despite the nearby presence of Julie's boyfriend who seems likely to go berzerk at any moment. Even more strange, hilarious events follow and it's up to Al to find some explanation. His life may never again be the same.
