Raffaello Degruttola is a BIFA-nominated Anglo-Italian actor, writer, and director, born in London to immigrant parents from Ariano Irpino. He grew up in North London and Queens, New York, and trained at Sylvia Young Theatre School and Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Primarily working in American films shot in Europe, he's collaborated with directors like Ron Howard (Rush), Michael Apted (Unlocked), Richard Attenborough (In Love and War), and Mike Nichols (Wit). In 2019, he starred opposite Rebel Wilson in The Hustle.

His upcoming projects include roles in the action-comedy The Killer's Game alongside Dave Batista and The Monk, The Mermaid, and Molise, where he plays the antagonist. Recently, he appeared in Ted Lasso.

Degruttola wrote and directed his first short drama, The Other Side of My Sleep, in 2010, which led to his feature mockumentary Flim The Movie, earning a nomination at the Moet British Independent Film Awards. His feature-length film Transference: A Love Story went viral, garnering over 23 million views on YouTube. His latest project, To Love A Narcissist, inspired by mental health, wrapped production in 2024 and is now in post-production.
