Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Danny Wolske started his own contracting company after he graduated from high school. He ran the company for eight years which had at one time a record of 20 employees. He turned to acting when he appeared in an episode of ER where he sold his company and moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting.
