Bobby Joe Hardin, Jr. was born on May 1, 2000, in Columbia, South Carolina. He is the son of Bobby Hardin, Sr. and Deanna Hardin. Bobby, who has been active in sports since childhood, faced a setback during his senior year of high school when a shoulder sprain limited his ability to participate in football workouts. He began his acting journey in the theater program at school during his second semester, cultivating his passion for the craft.

After graduating, he enrolled at Kennesaw State University to study Marketing. While in college, he landed a background role in the series Legacies, marking his entry into the film industry. Bobby has pursued further training in various programs across Atlanta to refine his acting skills.

He earned his first lead role in the pilot Ulterior (2020), portraying Jason George, a teenager grappling with internal conflicts while discovering his unique abilities. This pilot won multiple awards, including Best Sci-Fi and Best Action/Adventure at the Cannes World Film Festival and Andromeda Film Festival in 2021. Following Ulterior, Bobby took on roles in projects such as Etowah Ridge, Penny (2022), and Love Trap (2022).
