Lily Bloom, after a traumatic childhood, returns to her hometown of Plethora, Maine, to deliver a eulogy at her father’s funeral. Instead of speaking, she stands silently before walking off. Back in Boston, Lily prepares to open her flower shop. While on the rooftop of her apartment complex, she meets Ryle Kincaid, a charming neurosurgeon. Although they’re instantly attracted to each other, Ryle is called away for emergency surgery. As Lily renovates her shop, she meets Allysa, who offers to help. Later, Lily discovers Allysa is Ryle’s sister.
