Eliza Jane Scanlen, born on January 6, 1999, in Sydney, is an Australian actress best known for her role as Emma Crellin in the HBO miniseries Sharp Objects (2018). She made her film debut in 2019 as Beth March in Greta Gerwig's adaptation of Little Women, based on Louisa May Alcott's classic novel.

Scanlen has a twin sister named Annabel and began playing the piano at a young age. She resumed her piano practice while preparing for her role in Little Women. Eliza graduated from Loreto Kirribilli High School in 2016. During her high school years, she had a minor role as Tabitha Ford in the soap opera Home and Away and starred in the short film Grace in 2018.

In 2019, she made her stage debut in a Sydney Theatre Company production of Lord of the Flies. Her first significant feature film role was as Milla Finlay in Baby Teeth, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival. In Little Women, she starred alongside Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, Timothée Chalamet, Laura Dern, and Meryl Streep.
